Pink Lily Boutique Haul – Fall 2018 (part 3)

November 17, 2018

This post is NOT sponsored by Pink Lily. This is my own opinion about my personal online shopping experience here.

If you haven’t already noticed, I am in LOVE with the Pink Lily Boutique. This is my fourth time making a purchase from them, but the third time was just for a mystery bag so it wasn’t a full haul. Check out my first two hauls here: part 1 | part 2

This purchase was mainly for Fall or Winter items, but a couple could probably go for Springtime as well. I think I’m winding down with my Pink Lily purchases for the year. The last one I plan on making is going to be for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but never say never. They could have an amazing sale, and I might change my mind. However, I plan to hopefully be done with most of my shopping for the year after Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

My Order

I love everything I bought. The material is so soft on everything and perfect for Fall and Winter. When I ordered these I got a 30% discount, and that was probably the only way I bought that last sweater. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it is so beautiful, and really cozy. However, it’s original price was $55, and I was not down to pay that much for a sweater. No matter how cute and cozy it is. I think I mentioned this in my first Pink Lily haul, and it is very important to try to buy on sale days if you aren’t able to spend that much money. I recommend waiting for sales that are 25% or more, because usually, the highest sales are 25 to 30%.

I really enjoyed my purchases, and I can’t wait to check out their Black Friday sale. If you’re planning on making some purchases yourself, make sure to check out their Instagram for Black Friday sale news.

Bath & Bodyworks Fall Candle Haul

October 2, 2018

If you know anything about me, you know that I LOVE candles! Almost to the point of I love them too much. Let’s be honest, I own over 50 Bath & Bodyworks candles so I’m pretty sure I passed that point already.

Now I don’t just go into Bath & Bodyworks and buy 15 candles in one shopping trip. I might end up with 8 at the most per trip, but usually it’s between 4-6. Since I am living at my parents house as I am finishing up college, they also love the candles. Usually each shopping trip we split up the candles. I pay for half of them, and they pay for half of them. We also only buy candles when they are 50% off(which happens pretty often) and we have a 20% off coupon.

My Fall Collection

Over the past month and a half, my mom and I have gone to Bath & Bodyworks at least twice and bought probably 12 or so candles altogether. So we have got almost all of the Fall collection apart from a handful of ones we didn’t really like.

I think my favorites are the apple cinnamon cider, leaves, and autumn. Don’t get me wrong, I like all of them to a certain extent, but those are my go-to’s. I think the only ones I wouldn’t repurchase is bourbon maple and blueberry maple pancakes. They smell great, but the throw the candles give out is a little too strong. I can’t leave them burning for a long time, and usually I like to have a softer throw for candles. However, both bourbon maple and blueberry maple pancake are true scent wise.

What candles have you bought from their Fall/Autumn candles? What is your favorite?

Pink Lily Boutique Haul – Fall 2018

September 18, 2018

This post is NOT sponsored by Pink Lily. This is my own opinion about my personal online shopping experience here.

I know it’s not quite Fall yet, but I couldn’t help myself. I came across the Pink Lily Boutique in August, and I immediately fell in love with their clothes. It was hard to control myself and not buy every article of clothing they sell, but I managed to keep it to a handful of items.

I typically don’t like to spend too much when I buy things from a shop online for the first time. You never know how the material is going to feel, or how their sizes work. I kept that in mind when I bought my first few items from them, and I anxiously awaited my package to arrive for the next week. When they finally did arrive, I was certainly pleased with the clothes.

Pink Lily Boutique – 6 Items (3 shirts, 1 pair of shorts, 2 dresses)

Run To The Ocean Striped Blouse (Size Small)

Only Thing I Know Striped Blouse (Small Size)

Charming As Can Be Plaid Sweater (Size Small)

Just Keep Dreaming Floral Shorts (Small Size)

Casual For Fall Dress (Size Small)

Glowing Fondness Striped Dress (Size Small)

Can I just say how incredibly pleased I was when I tried these on for the first time? Each article of clothing I bought was made from the most comfortable material. They were soft and seemingly well made. The only thing I wish I did was buy more from them.

My Total Was $146 for these items. Here’s why it was worth it:

Five out of the 6 items I bought were new collection items, and only one item was on sale. I am not one to normally buy anything if it is over $20. However, I decided to put a little bit more into my budget for this, as I wanted to really try out some of their newest clothes and see what I thought of them. Because of how soft and comfortable the material is, how much I like the look of the clothes, and how the shipping & delivery process went are the main reasons why I would buy from the shop again without any doubt in my mind.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

After my successful online shopping experience, I started following their Instagram page and their VIP Instagram page(which gives insight on upcoming products and sometimes extra sales). They regularly have sales that are 10% over $50. It is very easy to spend over $50 here, but I’ve found that there are usually better sale opportunities that pop up. It can be a holiday or just a random day, but there are usually higher percentages off on those special sale opportunities.

I recommend that if you are concerned with spending too much money to wait for a holiday sale or follow them on Instagram, text notifications, or email notifications. You will get alerted when there are sales, and they sometimes have sales that are 25% off or more depending on how big of a holiday/sale weekend it is.

Planner Sticker Haul – August 2018

August 14, 2018

I think it’s time to do my first planner sticker haul for this blog. I haven’t really talked about this too much on this blog, but I love to plan. My planner is my life, and I use it every day. I bought my first Erin Condren planner last year, and my second one this year. I absolutely love the planner’s layout, and it’s a perfect style for me to make lists.

I started getting into planner stickers in the middle of last year, and I realized very quickly that I was addicted to buying the pretty stickers to go into my planner. The one thing that I didn’t count on was how pricey some of the planner stickers can be. With that in mind, I slowed down on buying planner stickers and chose my purchases from then on wisely.

Planner Sticker Haul

My purchases this time are for 1 week in September, October, November, and December. I purchased from a shop on etsy.com called The Glam Planner. This particular shop isn’t always open, as it kind of just depends on if the shop owner is on vacation or if they have too many orders. But if you like planner stickers, I definitely recommend going to check out this shop.

Festival Stickers – September 2018

This particular kit was initially for Coachella, but I like the layout and look of the whole kit and decided to get it for my September kit. It’s kind of like saying get all the Summer fun in while you can because it’s about to be Fall and cold weather is coming.

Halloween Kit – October 2018

I really liked the bright colors on this kit, and thought it was perfect for Halloween. Unlike the usually full kits, I got this kit as an essentials kit. So there will be some white space on my spread for the week of Halloween, but I think there is so much going on in these full boxes it won’t matter.

Harry Potter Hogwarts – November 2018

I really am excited about this kit. Instead of getting a traditional Thanksgiving or Black Friday themed kit, I chose Harry Potter for November. I don’t know why, but it seemed to fit in with the whole fall theme.

Furbaby Christmas – December 2018

This is another kit that isn’t a full covered spread, and only has the essentials. I loved the animals in this kit and thought the whole Christmas theme wasn’t overdone. I’m super excited to end the year with this kit.

Those are the four kits I purchased for the next four months. I do plan on buying more, probably around Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but for right now these four kits are on my to-do list. Well, my planner to-do list. I have plans to put the spread in for September around the middle of the month, but that could change. I do plan on posting a new blog post with my finished spread whenever I do get it done.

Are you into planner stickers? What are your favorite shops on Etsy? And, if you own your own Etsy shop, let me know, so I can check out your products. Check me out on Instagram, where you might see a sneak peek of my planner spreads.
