If you have been following me for a while(here or on Instagram), you know that I love working with my Instagram. I love making changes and see the new flow of a new theme change. I am also pretty passionate about photography, mine, and other peoples. With that in mind I decided that for the month of July, I will be trying out a new Instagram theme. Who knows, I might not like it and decide to change it again in August, or it could become a more permanent thing. I also want to note that this change is primarily going on my personal Instagram account, the blog Instagram account will be staying mostly the same. Although, I do plan on trying to make changes on that one once I build it up some more.
My New Instagram Theme
My new theme will be fairly simple, and hopefully easy to keep up with. I don’t know about you all, but one thing that I really don’t like is when it feels more like a struggle to post photos. I like to feel like I’m adding to a piece of art every day, and I want to “want” to post.
Over the past week, I did a trial run for my new theme to give you all an example of what my plan is. So far I am liking the changes, and I’m incorporating a lot of the landscape and nature photos from other sources(such as pexels.com), but I would love to incorporate photos from other photographers on Instagram.
I am playing off of using a diagonal type theme. One thread involves me, either selfies or full-length photos. Then I have two threads of landscape type photos that are on both sides of my selfie thread. Then the fourth thread is more random. The reason why I have the random thread is that I feel like sometimes I want to post something that isn’t just the same as the rest of the photos. I do however plan on sticking to a color theme that is green, white, black, and pink. However, I occasionally will post a pop of color here and there, as long as one of those colors is in the photo as well.
Want your photos to be featured on my Insta?
If you’d like for me to use one of your photos on my Instagram, let me know in the comments below or email me at email@example.com. I need the image you’d like me to use, and your Instagram handle. Mine, for example, would be @annamaxwell018 and I would attach the photo, and anything particular you’d like for me to say about your photo in the caption.
Thank you all for reading. Be sure to link your own blog, Twitter, Instagram down below for me to get to know you.
